Mezzetta – Shifting the Sauce

The Challenge

Mezzetta, the category leader in Olives and Peppers, looked to launch their updated packaging and introduce consumers to their high quality pasta sauce. The challenge was to convert consumers from a mass produced pasta sauce to a high quality product, while creating opportunities to expand the product usage beyond basic recipes.

How We Did It

Our solution was to create an in-store chef experience. Having real chefs create delicious recipes on-site for consumers to enjoy fresh. Each customer also received branded recipe guides with over 1,500 Mezzetta recipes to choose from

The Results

The result was amazing. With 500+ events executed over 9 states we saw a significant increase in consumer engagement and sales. The branded recipe guides will create an additional stream of future purchases throughout the year.
